The Baron Dampfbier is our revival of an old Bavarian style of beer. Currently there are only a few known breweries in Germany who continue to make this kind of beer. The Dampf is a pale light ale that is lagered. There is a soft aroma of fresh grain with a perceptible hop overtone and slight fruit. The body is light but firm in flavor. Finishes layered with malt, subtle fruit and a clean bitterness.
All ingredients for the beer are imported from Germany. Brewed in accordance to the German Beer Purity Law (Reinheitsgebot) of 1516.
